Diao Chan - Wallpaper

It's been a while since I've made a custom wallpaper, so I figured I'd put this up.

I have a lot of these, so I'll probably put the rest up. They were supposed to go on my old DA account, , but I don't use that account anymore considering it is outdated by about two years, and I'd rather start fresh.

This isn't the best I could do with making wallpapers, but I just wanted to create something simple to warm myself up again since I'm very rusty.

Anyway...

This is Diao Chan from the Dynasty Warriors series in her 7th design.

I wanted to create more contrast on her, so I had darkened her hair, and brightened up her eye-color.

The rest is simply a lot of gradient and glow-effect created through GIMP.

The quote used at the top is a loose translation of a line from the song "Wu Niang" by Jolin Tsai.

The stanza underneath Diao Chan's name is a very, very, very loose translation of "Jianrenqu" by the Han Dynasty poet/musician, Li Yannian.
